This is a picture-based instruction manual for properly driving down pit road. Please remember that the pit stalls at certain tracks are positioned on the opposite side of the pit stalls displayed in this guide. When you are racing at a track where this is the case, simply imagine a mirrored or "flip-flopped" version of the picture at which you are looking.

Chase Perspective - Cockpit Perspective

On a pit road with painted markers, a driver's entire car should be positioned within the outside lane.

On a pit road without painted markers, a driver's car should be positioned along the grass or wall on the opposite side of the stalls.

After finishing a pit stop, a driver should check for incoming cars and safely return to the outside lane.
